COVID-19 Update (November 24, 2020)

by Nicholas Myers on November 24, 2020

Good evening everyone,

I'm writing this update from the comfort of my own home - something I've come to cherish more than ever this past year. I've been cooking more, eating better, and catching up on my immensely large Netflix Watchlist.

I understand when I say this year has been extremely difficult for us all.

Your safety is at the top of our priority list so we're adapting to the recent changes observed this week surrounding COVID-19 Levels in El Paso County.

As of November 24, 2020 a new order from the state has gone into effect which changes the way we protect our team & our community to help further lessen the spread of COVID-19 (Corona-virus). El Paso County is considered to be in the "Red Level" Stage as I'm sure many of you are aware of.

Q: What does this change?

First & foremost, it is with deep regret that we have decided to pause ALL CLASSES & EVENTS for the foreseeable future. We will meet as a team to discuss and proactively research our virtual options for continuing to train you in the world of sewing, quilting, embroidery, and sergers.

Secondly, our Small Business Saturday Event has been cancelled. We will announce the winners of the giveaway by December 1.

We are waiting to receive our building's capacity numbers for both Sales & Service as well as the Education & Event Center. We will update these numbers here & post them in our stores once we can evaluate them. We think it's safe to say a 50% capacity could be close to 10 people in the store at any given time.

We encourage you to shop online. We offer local pickup and shipping options, and soon we might be able to offer "local delivery" - sort of like an Uber Eats for sewing machine sales, repairs, and notions!

Thank you.
